Stabilisation of the microbiological quality of drinking water in water tanks and closed vessels
The Gastroback® Aqua Clean Capsule was developed specifically to stabilise drinking water by eliminating the waterborne germs. This means that Gastroback® Aqua Clean capsules are ideal for use in the water tanks of coffee makers, machines with integrated coffee mill, espresso makers and oral irrigators, as well as in water bottles, vases and other containers requiring water filtration.
The capsules work according to the catalytic process by generating a microelectric field between the precious metal coatings, which causes a reaction and releases free radicals in the aqueous solution around the plated surfaces. These radicals – including hydrogen peroxide – eliminate microorganisms. The radicals themselves degrade into water during the reaction.
